if you didnt have the chance to play the game and whant to try it out before buying, here is a trick that will allow you to play the BFBC 2 multiplayer basicly for free.

they call it project "Rome" its a modification to the game that allows you to play online with other people outside of EA (electronic arts) servers. that way you can play without an EA account.

requirements :

• -an updated version of the game.( updates here )
• -a nexus account. ( registration here )
• -modification files for the game and you are set to go 

how to install project Rome :

• -download this compressed file from the offical website here, extract it then place it into you game folder where BFBC2Game.exe exists.
• -launch your game by executing BFBC2Game.exe 
• login ingame using your Emulator Nexus account

how to start playing :

• go to server browser 
• refresh
• pick a server and connect 
• enjoy!

the mod has a solid average number of  700 people playing at most times

Last week, the site The Pirate Bay and its mirror sites have been taken offline following the seizure of the servers by Swedish police. A police raid has set the biggest exchange portal illegal BitTorrent files on land, at the request of holders of Swedish law associations.
